Been going through the wiring on the exocet. So far I’ve got the rear turn signals and two side markers. Brake lights? Pfsh, we don’t need no stinking brake lights. What is this connector supposed to plug into? Who knows. All I can say is thank god for multimeters and patience.

What an unnecessarily bulky (and heavy!) connector for only 4 conductors.

Multimeters I have in sufficient supply. Patience, that’s questionable.

I have nearly endless patience. Blessing and curse, really. Spent the bulk of my free time this weekend on this without making much progress.

No kidding. There are quite a few connectors like this on the Miata wiring harness.

May never be a better time to simplify and add some lightness!

I can’t imagine life without a multimeter. Almost as essential as a 10mm socket.

Honestly, I didn’t know how to use one until yesterday. The wonders of the internet!
